I had a good time on Monday meeting with the old friend--S.H. I shared some of the mini Reeses peanut butter cups I had gotten from a friend in the States (she sent me a box of Reeses, poptarts, and grape jelly!! THANK YOU!!!). S.H. (who is Japanese) looked at the candy curiously but was more interested in the plastic Santa tube they had come in! She asked for it so she could show it to her daughter. The other lady there--who has been a missionary in Japan for 5 years--was ecstatic to receive the little chocolates!! I had fun listening to their stories, catching up, and showing them pictures from the wedding (I don't get to do that often).
I caught a little cold, so I've been congested and tired all week...trying to rest when I can. Thankfully, I didn't have a heavy schedule this week, and I've got today (Saturday) off.
