Busy

We've been busy lately. I've been so tired this week...not sure exactly why, though I have my suspicions. Probably mostly from being busy. Please pray that we are able to manage our time well and live healthily amid it all.

Tomorrow Daiju is NOT working--he has the entire Sunday off! Woo-hoo!
On Monday I'm going to meet an old friend--I met her the first time I went to Japan. [I am so thankful to God for those who supported each of my trips to Japan. Things would be MUCH harder for me now had I not already had the experience of coming here and serving God alongside the Believers here.] I am glad I will finally get to see this friend again. Please pray for her as well; her husband is not a Believer.

Praise report:
I had been dreading teaching this one group we have at our school, we'll call them "V." V is a group of five high school and junior high students--two guys and three girls. They don't clique well, and they're very difficult to teach because they don't speak (or at least are quite hesitant to do so). They don't usually greet the teacher, even after he/she says "hello" first. They seldom answer questions raised by the teacher or do anything without being individually singled out.
BUT praise be to God! I realized my attitude toward the class was wrong, and prayed that God would help me to love them, to love teaching them (or at least to enjoy it). My husband prayed as well. And that night, several of them actually said "hello" to me and a couple of them even answered questions I raised about the material. They did the speaking assignments I gave them. I was so happy! I told one of the other teachers how well the first (of two) lessons went on the break, and said, "What did you do?" Other than preparing well, I had no idea!! I told him the only thing I really did differently was praying about it. What a testimony!
