It has been forever since I posted!
We had a successful trip to and from Japan in May & June--29 days total.
Kyrie turned two while we were there.
I got a job at a church nursery. I work Sunday evenings and Thursdays while Micaiah is at school.
Micaiah loves his new school, and so do we. God has been so kind to us!
Kyrie enjoys playing with other toddlers while I am working, though she often laments that it is "hard to share."
My dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer, but it is localized and he is likely to fully recover. He is currently getting radiation five mornings a week.
My second nephew is due this November. I cannot tell you how excited I am to meet little Asher! I sure wish we lived closer, but at least we are in the same metroplex.
Daiju got bumped by an 18-wheeler. Our Mazda666 was thankfully totaled and Daiju was wonderfully unharmed. It has been a lovely experience for me, saying goodbye to the car that used to yell at me and whose doors would close on me while I was trying to put kids into their car seats. And the trucker's insurance was such a pleasure to work with. They gave us an excellent check for our car that let us replace it with one our friends had been selling. They paid for us to replace the kids' car seats. And I bought the car seats at Kohl's and got $100 Kohl's cash to spend. So it has been a lot of fun for me, minus the stress of driving across town to total the car, and well, you know, poor Daiju having to experience the whole ordeal. Funny how life works, eh?
I have been having trouble sleeping. Here's hoping tonight is better. Otherwise my health has been pretty bearable/almost good. Hope anyone reading this is doing well!!!
