MJ is fourteen months old. It's amazing how quickly he's transitioning from baby to big boy. He is understanding so much now it's crazy! He knows to stop when I say stop, though I doubt he'll always obey. He wants to do things on his own. He's always wanted to feed himself and drink on his own, but now he's becoming more and more confident to try other things on his own. He'll even walk around outside without me being right next to him now. A lot of this spells trouble, but it's also a very good sign they he's developing properly.
A couple of days ago he started playing hide-and-seek. He hid where the cat usually does in the closet and waited for me to come look for him. He's done that several times since then, and even did it at his great-grandparents' house! (see picture) He opened and closed the doors, smiling as we asked where he was.
I'm so thankful to my husband for providing for us so that I can stay home with him. And I love how much quality time father and son get to spend together now. I wouldn't have it any other way!
