He's walking! And we are moving forward.

When he came to America, he was cruising along furniture and crawling across the room. A couple weeks ago he started walking sideways, pushing shopping carts (baby and adult), and walking forward for a few steps. As of a couple days ago, I think we can say for certain that he is WALKING and he is loving it!

At twelve and a half months, he enjoys making the circle around the kitchen sink into the living room and kitchen of our recently-moved-into one-bedroom apartment. He has been clingy off and on during this hard time of adjustment but he is doing GREAT.

I think today is the first time either of us has really been sick since we moved here, and that's pretty impressive considering how much stress we've been under. He has a low grade fever and a runny nose, and I've got a scratchy throat and probably a little fever myself (haven't checked myself yet).

His daddy and my darling is doing well at his new job. I think this is week three since he started, and he seems to be enjoying the diverse group he gets to work with, the relaxed attire, and shorter hours.

We don't know what God has for us to do here but we are looking forward to whatever it is. And we'll walk there together!

** Edit: I forgot I got a stomach bug last month for a few days, but I don't think it affected the baby much if at all so it didn't stand out in my memory.
