"Talking" and Rolling

Mickey is seven months old today. It seems that, almost all at once, he's changed.

Now he "speaks" with intonation. He still uses few sounds, but he uses them as if he were speaking in a sentence. He mostly says combinations of N, M, and A, but sometimes I hear H and once B.

He's also gotten louder and fiercer in his cries. I think his voice might have lowered a bit, too. Just like when his cries changed a couple of months ago, it kind of scared me at first. But now I can pretty much tolerate it. And now I can tell when he's crying for what more than before, so if he's simply defying a nap I don't treat it the same as if he's in need of something.

Also, just in the past day or two he's gotten a lot more mobile. Today he's been rolling around to reach toys like there's nothing to it. Yesterday, when he was sitting down and started to lose his balance, he caught himself by slapping his hand on the floor three times!

I wonder when he'll be crawling, or sitting up by himself, or standing on his own? It's so fun to watch him learn and use new skills!
