Day 1: It's Sunday. We skip church. Daiju plays with Micaiah all day so I can rest.
Day 2: We take the train for an hour to Tokyo for a regular doctor's appointment I couldn't reschedule. He gives me some kampo (Chinese medicine) for whatever it is I have.
Day 3: A friend comes over to help out. While she entertained Micaiah, I got to lie down for thirty minutes. She also walked the dog and did some chores for me. What a sweetheart!
Day 4: I try to rest but Micaiah is fussy a lot of the day. Probably still worn out from his vaccinations last Friday afternoon, since he hasn't had much time to rest since then.
Day 5: I cancel my English lesson and try to stay home and rest. But I feel fine when I'm lying down, so it's hard to stop myself from playing on Facebook or lying awake thinking about all the things I need to get done.
Day 6: It's Friday. I think I feel better so I skip taking the kampo. I walk the dog and take the baby with me to the bank and post office...and feel horrible most of the day.
Day 7: It's Saturday. Still don't feel good, but I'm getting by. I'll take the last of the kampo, try to rest, and hope I feel well enough to go to church in the morning. (And blog and play on Facebook to stay sane)
