I've been a little annoyed at our mail-person. We have a slot in the door which s/he is to slip our mail through, but more often than not it's not pushed all the way through. Supposedly you can't pull it out from the outside, but I think if you push the little door in your could probably pull it out. That's not good! What if we get something with personal info. in it?? Anybody who happens by could take it!!! But more than that, when it rains and the letters are sticking out like that, they get wet. I got a letter from a church I had volunteered at in Osaka (winter 05/06) the other day, and I had to air it out on our desk because about a fourth of it had gotten wet from the rain (argg!!!).
BUT today I walked into the "genkan" (entrance) and saw three letters ON THE FLOOR (hooray!) and no junk mail!!! One letter was from my mother, another the official statement that my student loans were
paid in full, and another a letter from my friend in China (now I just need to find somebody to translate it for me...). Woo-hoo!
On a totally different note, here are a couple of picture of me and some kids at church on Easter Sunday after "aisankai" (fellowship...we had lunch together and a mini-talent-show after the service).

I hate when that happens to my mail too!!!
Can y'all talk to them and see if they can have him/her corrected?
I never had problem like that when I was in Japan so I have no idea how it works.
But we didn't have slot on our door,we had mail boxes on the first floor.
I hope this problem will be solved very very soon.
I love the pics!!!!!!
